There is one train serving Denali and it is a daily train in the summer. The Denali Star, the Alaska Railroad's flagship train, links Anchorage to Fairbanks with stops in Wasilla, Talkeetna and Denali Park. On this route, sparkling salmon streams and stands of birch and spruce come into view, while carpets of fireweed add dramatic purple to the landscape.
There are two classes of travel available.
Adventure Class is standard coach class or you can choose
GoldStar Service their first-class service. Ride aboard double-deck dome cars, luxury rail travel has never been better. Reserved upper-level dome car seating, priority check-in, upper-level outdoor viewing deck, exclusive lower-level dining room, and complimentary non alcoholic beverages.

CANCELLATION and CHANGE POLICY
Changes made to a confirmed reservation are subject to a change fee.
Any charges incurred by the Alaska Railroad as a result of changes made by the customer will be applied to the booking in addition to the change fee.
Cancellation fees apply to the gross value of the booking. Change fees apply only to the value of the altered segment. No fees apply to changes that increase the cost of the booking.
8+ days before travel: 10% fee 7 days or less before travel: Non-changeable, non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for unused services.
In addition, Denali Mountain Morning Hostel charges $10 or 10% (whichever is greater) on all customer-initiated travel reservation cancellations and we charge $10 on all customer-initiated tour and travel reservation changes.
All tours and travel tickets promoted by Denali Mountain Morning Hostel & Lodge are provided by other companies. The hostel does not accept any liability to anyone regarding what occurs during, before, or after, your trip. We only guarantee the provider will be paid on your behalf and that we have represented the tour operator's offers to the best of our ability, based on the information they have provided us.
