This river trip begins just North of the entrance to Denali National Park and journeys 11 river miles to Healy, Alaska. During this 2-Hour whitewater adventure expect to encounter over 10 major Class III to IV rapids in the Nenana River Canyon! The Denali National Park frontier will be the setting on your river left shore with Mt. Healy rising over 3,000 feet to the summit. Exciting wave-trains and powerful hydraulics will create rapids like "Razorback," "Iceworm," "Cable Car," "Royal Flush," and "Coffee Grinder!" No experience is required; recommended for ages 12 and up (provider will go as young as 10 years old at guide's discretion). Choose an Oar Raft and hold on or a Paddle Raft for extra hands-on excitement. And isn't it SO COOL that they named the river rapids after some of our cabins?! ;) If you don't have a car, take our shuttle to the Wilderness Access Center where they will pick you up.
